Happy Thanksgiving

Or, Uncle Frank, this turkey is so good, how’d you make it?*

Dear sweet blog readers, you happy few you, I wish you the happiest of Thanksgivings. May your turkey (or “loaf,” Jordan) be delicious and may you not have to resort to pregnancy pants, like Joey did in that one Friends episode.** But if you do, know I won’t judge you.***

I’m off to Hazleton with the family to eat dinner with Uncle Frank and Nana. I’m doing very little cooking, but will be called upon to help with the assembly if several sides.

Have a great day everyone!

* The answer is always “I cooked it in the bag!” and this exchange between Uncle Frank and LJ is tradition.

** Unless you’re actually pregnant right now. Feel free to trot out the pants-with-panels!

*** I might judge you a little. But only out of love.

#1. I relayed the Uncle Frank/LJ banter at Set Up Night. Glad to know the tradition is still going. wondering if Uncle Frank acted suprised?
#2. I did not wear prego pants…just leggings. Thank GOD they’re back

Truthfully, “the bag” loses a lot of its impact with less people there. That turkey was delicious though.
